will an at-home nicotine test notice if the urine is diluted with tap water?

i've got to take a stupid urine nicotine test tomorrow, and i possibly have nicotine in my system because i had 1 cigarette yesterday.
i just noticed i can run the tap without making any noise. will the drug test show up as invalid or something if i dilute my pee with tap water?
i was just thinking i'd add some water to my pee to dilute the cotentine (nicotine) in it. not make fake pee. thanks anyway i guess.
 
why the fuk would you have to take a nicotine test. but whatever lol yeah it should work if you use water just a little id say maybe use food coloring yellow so its not suspicious but still thats really weird they make you take that i had no idea they even made those lol
