I have Comcast and just bought a HDTV and upgraded my box. There are not many HD channels available. I was pleased to see SciFi channel has a HD channel but do not see a Spike Tv HD channel. I was hoping to watch Star Trek in HD. Will they be adding HD channels in the future. BTW I will never, ever switch to Satellite.
Will cable companies be adding more HD channels in the future?

yes if they want to keep up but really its all up to the t.v. station to decide weather or not they are going to be broadcast in high def
Not comcast, they have way to many problems right now....
....with lawsuits over throttling and such.....
The problem with a cable company is that they like to make money more than invest into new technologies.
Many cable companies, have literally screwed themselves over by hoarding money.....and not investing into new technologies like new docsis standards and fiberoptics...
ATT uverse and verizon is the way to go....
