some kids i knew from school asked me for a ride to some appartments and when we got there i parked and they went. i heard a window break and they came back with a subwoofer and 3 car stereos. so i left and dropped them off at home. now im being charged with party to a crime to all of these.... entry into a locked vehicle. 3 cnts of theft of movable propterty. and criminal damage to property. mind you these are all party to a crime. and my history is good. i just have a disorderly for making a myspace for my old principal.

Um, your history is not good if you already have a disorderly.

Remember, being where a crime is committed makes you a party to the crime. You could be doing some community service and even jail time, but most likely will get probation. And don't pretend you didn't know what was going on, you were 100% apart of the crime and deserve whatever punishment you get. I hope you will have learned your lesson but I'm guessing there are a few more crimes in your future. There always are with your types.

Most likely not. Get a lawyer, first of all, and see if you can work out something with the prosecutor in exchange for your testimony. While this definitely implicates you as an accessory to the crime, the fact that you were unaware beforehand of what was to happen will work in your favor, at the very least at sentencing. Especially if you have a clean prior record. Offer to cooperate with the state and you'll most likely get off with a suspended sentence and community service, plus a lengthier period of probation. And stop hanging around w/ goons!
