Will Inverting My Subs Hurt Them?

right now im running two 12" kicker comps, i currently have them in sealed boxes and have them inverted with them magnets out. will this hurt them? i have them in reversed polarity and they seem to hit lower bass notes better, i just dont wanna hurt the subs. they are powered by a kicker DX 500.1 LPF 25hz High Set to 85hz. no bass boost
