had a 6ft photo of Ford in his office? Adolf Hitler kept a life-size portrait of Ford next to his desk. "I regard Henry Ford as my inspiration," Hitler told a Detroit News reporter two years before becoming the Chancellor of Germany in 1933.

In July 1938, four months after the German annexation of Austria, Ford was awarded the Grand Cross of the German Eagle, the highest medal awarded by Nazi Germany to foreigners.

All I can say is that I've read issues of The Dearborn Observer published by Henry Ford in the 20s in which Ford reveals himself to be a vicious anti-semite. I'm not an observant Jew, and doubtless times and attitudes have changed at Ford Motor, but I'll still never buy a Ford.

I wonder if I committed horrible crimes against humanity, and said I was inspired by toothpaste, if I could get people to stop using toothpaste.

Hitler also breathed air, walked on two legs and ate. Presumably decent people shouldn't do those things either?

you know who else were his inspirations?

christianity
the german country (he was nationalistic to the extreme)
jews themselves (more motivation actually)
