Will lifting my truck void my waranty on it and will it be safe?

My dad wants to get me a 2008 toyota tundra. I want to raise it between 4"-6". Will this void my waranty with the delership and will it be safe because some people say lifting a truck does not make it any more dangerous and some people say it is? any thoughts?

yes it will void your warranty and yes it can be a bit more tippy once you raise it. But you can get tire spacers or off set rims to stop that from happening

No it will not void your warranty, but if you are off-roading and you break something due to it, and they can prove the aftermarket parts caused the failure, they dont have to cover the repair cost.
