Will Motorola XPRT work on Pakistani GSM networks?

Hi,
I am planning to buy Motorola XPRT phone but the problem is that it is released by a gsm company of U.S "Sprint" and it is blocked for all other gsm networks of U.S...... But it is in its specs that it will work on any gsm network world widely on ROAMING..... now does that mean that i can use it in pakistan on any of our networks like warid, ufone, telenor etc????
Plz an experts view is needed!!!!!!

its locked to sprint
this means you have to have a service/plan through sprint

it WILL connect to local GSM towers/services in places like Pakistan, but will be charged huge international roaming rates. otherwise you could get the phone unlocked, and then put a local SIM card in it.
