My poor hair. It's been through a lot lately. I have naturally blonde hair, but I dyed it brown for about 6 months. Of course, I missed the blonde, and tried to go back. I went to a salon where they bleached, toned, and dyed it blonde...but it looked horrible. It had a "fake" yellow/orange tint to it. I hated it, so I dyed it all back to a medium/natural brown, at home. Now, it's been almost 3 months and my blonde roots are growing out and the brown is fading. It looks like a light golden brown now, with maybe a tiny hint of red? I don't know, I feel like the shininess/brassiness from the blonde is shining through...I don't like it. I still want it blonde, but until my hair is strong enough to bleach again (I want to wait as long as possible) I think I'm just going to dye it light brown. Will that cover up the shininess? What color should I use?
