will my naibors complain if i put my drums in my house?

Neighbors (let's use real English here please!) can't object if you put drums in your house, but they may object if you actually play them!

Most municipalities have ordinances that state when you can create noise. Usually this time begins at 8am and ends at 8pm. Check with your city or county office.

Your safest bet is to politely go over to their door, knock, introduce yourself and explain your situation. Don't ask permission-- just tell them what you're doing with your drums. Give them your phone number and ask them to call if the noise becomes unreasonable or disruptive.

If it's just a distant banging, people get pissed and call the police. If they have a face to put with the noise, and that face is a nice person, they'll be a hundred times more tolerant.

Possibly but if you go and talk to them and maybe come to some agreement on acceptable days n times for you to play them then that may preempt the complaints!!

I'd say yes. Drums are generally noisy. do You practice all day and night keeping your neighbors awake?
