How soon will DVD's be a thing of the past like VHS Tapes?
Should I stop buying DVD movies that I can't find on Blu-ray.Will even Blu-ray be a thing of the past soon because the popularity of live streaming over the Internet is growing.I have a very large DVD collection, but I'm reading conflicting things about the future of Blu-ray. Are DVD's going to become obsolete in the near future, and if so, how quickly do you think it will be? Should I stop buying standard DVD's?
 
Yes eventually blu ray will be a thing of the past. They should make player available for few years after but not dor ever. You will one day be buying or downloading into memory as I am sure you will be getting tarabyte+ sim cards in the not to distant future.
