Will Rev. Wright's rants end up helping Obama?

The more Rev. Wright spouts off and "insults" Obama, the more distance he puts between them. I see it making Rev. Wright look like a lunatic, and Obama look like the "victim" of Rev. Wright's attempt to "destroy" his campaign. That leaves Obama free from association with Wright. Do you agree?

I can see Wright is thinking that what he is doing for BHO is right. He would have ceased doing this if he's not convinced that the way to help his candidate is open his mouth on TV and on DVD recordings. Obama can't be the victim because he loves Wright everytime he opens his mouth since 20 years ago, isn't it?

OBAMA AGREES WITH HIM

Otherwise, he wouldn't have been in the nut's church for 20 years and secretly prayed with him in the basement before his campaign kickoff.

No, it's sad all around...Rev. Wright NEEDS to have whitey to blame. How can you say all of America problems are due to white racist oppression with a black president serving.
Anything to stop the down pouring rain of self responsibility.

Since he was part of the church for 20 years it will always show some issue with his judgement.

He took his wife young girls to that church!

The Rev Wright is hurting Obama badly. Obama can not claim to be a victim in this case. Because nobody made him attend that church.

Agreed and I hope it works, they need to cut thier ties, some friendships just arent worth it sometimes. I've cut all the "drama queens" out of my life and I've never been happier. more peace to me.

I think he is hurting Obama.

Wright needs to deflate his ego and be quiet.

I almost think Wright wants Obama to lose.

It would prove his point that- that a black man can't win in the US.

It's sad because Obama tried to take the high road and not completely repudiate Wright. Now, Wright is almost stabbing him in the back.

No, I don't agree. Sorry. A little staged victimization can't erase 20 years of real association.
But I do think it will destroy Obama's campaign. In fact, I think it already has.

Edit: Ronnie B, thanks for the link. Sorry they keep taking down your question....you know which one.

No. I do not think he is helping Obama..... As we know, Obama is half white, Yet Rev. Wright is making all these statements about being a black minister and a black church................Wait a minute. He has a lighter skin tone than Obama and he has thin lips. Thee is something in his wood pile and it ain't black.

I don't think what Wright has been saying helps anyone but Wright. And I think we all need to revisit calling him Rev. Wright. I think that you need to act like a minister before you clal yourself one.

What he is saying is aweful and does nothing but promote racism and anger, which spawns hate. Helps nobody, and Obama should have told this guy years ago to step off. I don't know why anyone would listen to the venomous racist garbage he preaches. It is sad.

Yeah, for 20 years Obama worshiped this guy, but now that he's bad for politics we are supposed to believe that Obama's disowned him?

Obama himself said he CAN"T disown him!

Come on now people.

20 years.

No that is absolutely absurd. I guess he was the victim of Larry Sinclair also! Obama labeled this "lunatic" as his spiritual adivsor!

Not in my book. Obama is a hate mongering racist as is Wright. It doesn't matter to me if they go on Jerry Springer and fight or Oprah and kidss and make up!

Obama is not qualified to be the President.

Obama is a American hating racist!

Actually I don't know theres something fishy going on!It seems like to me Rev Wright is actually distancing himself from Obama purposely. The timing of this is very odd and I can't put my hands on it.Why not wait until after the Nc polls to close along with Indiana then spout off when Obama campaigns in the heavily Liberal states he has left.Mayby his speech yesterday and today was really for the superdelegates lol.Just joking but the timing has me baffled.
