When I let my dogs out the oldest one will chase anything in the yard he caught a cat a couple weeks ago and he will catch rabbits which is fine but every once in a while he will just take off to the woods and I think its deer that he is chasing. I don't know if I should put a shock collar on him when I let him out. I don't care if he goes out in the woods but I don't want him to run into the road I don't know what else would stop him from taking off.
