Do you think soon S. Korea will be the place that is producing all the best technologies, and overshadowing Japan? They already produce a lot of very good things, so I am just curious as to what you guys think

I personally think S. Korea will become the new Japan in a few decades. Its economy is growing so quickly and everything...

South Korea still needs more innovation. That's the major thing that separates them.

Of course, innovation from South Korea doesn't mean it will cease in Japan. People like to look at this as a "this or that" situation, but in reality they could both produce innovative technology. Technology does not all come from Japan. There is plenty of innovation elsewhere, as well.

idk south korea is picking up but japan is still doing some insane stuff, so while they will rise in prominence quickly, i don't think they will surpass japan anytime soon. south koreas space program needs work, today was there second failed rocket launch in a row.
