Will storing my dvd's and blu-ray's in my garage during winter cause damage to them?

They are in my relative's garage in chicago. Will they get damaged so that I couldn't play them anymore? The worst that the winter gets there this winter is about 1 degree farenheit. I spent a lot of money on those! ARGGE

unfortunately you chose bluray over hddvd so they are already poor quality :)
