Will T-Mobile charge me if I switch my texting plan?

I want to switch my 1,000 domestic texting plan to unlimited, will T-Mobile charge me for switching? And am I allowed to switch to unlimited?

You can switch and it will cost more per month on your billing plan to get unlimited.
