...predictions? This is in light of Camping's failed October 21st prediction and even though it didnt really get any attention (unlike the May 21st one) there were still some mentions of it and so many people who are basically screwed now since they believed it to be true.
I know Camping based his predictions off the bible and that is a contradiction in itself since god said nobody would be able to predict the day it happened...so that kind of tells you everything.

However, with the 2012 predictions...if my knowledge is correct on it....the predictions are not religious and just based on historical predictions which were made off the stars and that type of stuff a real long time ago by the Mayans, Nostradamus and I believe others.
So, about this time next year will these predictions be getting more attention and will people genuinely be more aware of this?
Personally, I dont really read too much on this...there is really no benefit of psycho-analyzing stuff like this....just have faith in god and we dont know what will happen. I am not really worried...but I heard of the 2012 predictions from people and heard about Camping on the news and was curious.
Thank you :)

I think it will yes, because the world is secular and doesn't know what the Lord Jesus Christ God the Father has told us about it... But those of us who know what His Word say's, know and understand not to be concerned about this...

As for Mr. Camping this is all I have to say about Him.
According to what our Lord God tells us in His Word concerning anyone that presumes to speak a word in His Name which He has NOT commanded, is a false prophet and teacher and NOT to be listened to.. I believe Mr. Camping to be wrong and doesn't seem to understand the Word of God.

Deuteronomy 18: 20 But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.’

21 And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?’—

22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

Of course it will, but I don't think it will get as much news coverage. You only hear about that in Doomsday movies and Doomsday documentaries about Mayans, but not on the News.

the 2012 event was predicted by the Mayan who where masters of calculating time & space so it holds more credibility than some old white guy putting billboards up. It certainly is more popular.
