Will the HTC Inspire 4G work with a T-Mobile Prepaid SIM card?

I have a T-mobile prepaid SIM card and am looking into buying an Inspire 4G, but I'm not sure if the prepaid SIM card will work with phone, after it's unlocked of course. Does anyone have this setup or know if it would work? Thanks.

It would not work if the phone is locked to AT&T, but if it is unlocked I think there is a possibility it would work, I'm just not sure.
