computers too? I'm definitely up for getting "Rock Band 3" very soon, whether it be for Christmas or even sooner than that, and the new keyboard instrument looks fantastic. I do also know it's a MIDI-compatible keyboard...but that's where I get confused when I'm looking at info on the controller.
I'd like to practice keyboards soon because I feel music would be a good hobby to take up after but I also want to actually produce music on a computer directly instead of merely just recording what I play.
I also know "Rock Band 3" has some handy tutorials for learning to play the real-life instrument but I prefer to learn how to play the keyboard more via GarageBand for the Mac as it's far more direct and helpful in perfecting the way you play these instruments.
But I hear no mention of the keyboard having, say, a USB port or what have you so does this mean you can't use this with computers after all and said "MIDI-compatible" devices are more serious music-playing tools other than something that could help even more with learning to play these things?
If this ends up being a dumb question, I wouldn't entirely be surprised. But I'm so curious about this, you won't believe! >_<
Thanks for taking the time to read this!
