Will there ever be a Hajime No Ippo Season 3?

I used to love this anime sooo much! Ive done some research but I still haven't gotten the answer I was looking for. So I want to know will there ever be a season 3? Some say one of the voice actors said there was but look how many years it been since Season 2 ended and the manga is still ongoing so I was wondering if any of you might know if there ever will be a Season 3?

It never did seem to reach the popularity as a Sports Anime ( even if I think it is a good anime) it did decently in Japan, but when released as a Dub in the U.S. it did not go so well and is considered a flop, even if there are a lot of people reading the manga and love the Anime it just did not do so well. I do not see it happening as much as I want it to be made but there is hope.

Even then it may be possible I mean if you take a look at this boxing Anime - Ashita no Joe (1970-04-01 to 1971-09-29) it has a sequel Ashita no Joe 2 (1980-10-13 to 1981-08-31) if you look it about 9 years before it the sequel was released meaning even if it has been years it just takes one thing or somebody willing to pick it up again.
