Will we be able to pre-order the Droid X from Verizon itself?

I know that you used to be able to pre-order the Droid X from Best Buy, but will we be able to pre-order it from a Verizon store or the actual Verizon website like we could with the Droid Incredible?

i don't think you can pre-order if from verizon..just from best buy..but it looks like they're already sold out..sorry

I don't think that you can order any of the Verizon Wireless stuff from Verizon (the phone/DSL/TV company), unless you have one of those bundles that comes with internet, FiOS, and mobile phone service. You will be able to order the Droid X from Verizon Wireless, but not until launch day.

to be completely honest im thinking no for some reason.
1 because it release in 13 days and to put out preorder less than 2 weeks before release is ridiculous for the consumer it was announced like a week ago for crying out loud!
and 2....they dont want what happened to the Droid Incredible meaning back orders. you look at the wait for the incredible??? its over a month i ordered mine on the 19th of june they told me it get to me july 20th and i cancelled it when the Droid X was set to release the 15th of july which is 5days before incredible gets here. They are not likely to preorder to avoid backordering. The reason why incredible was backordered is because samsung couldnt keep up with demand for the phone since they provided the glass on the incredible presumably. SO.....they dont want to get over their heads again lots of consumers are real mad that it happened on the incredible for it to happen with the Droid X will leave some leavin to AT&T for iphone 4 or even sprint for the EVO
