The Los Angeles Clippers added guard depth by trading for Willie Green of the Atlanta Hawks. While Green primarily plays shooting guard, he can also play point guard in a pinch. In Los Angeles, he’ll be coming off the bench.
Last season, Green averaged 7.6 points on 47.1% shooting from the field and 44.2% shooting from three-point land. He also averaged 1.5 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game in 17.4 minutes.
Green began his career with the Philadelphia 76ers and has also played for the New Orleans Hornets. The 31-year-old only has one year left on his contract.
