Wind Mobile question?

With phone is better from Wind Mobile, the Huawei U8100 or the HTC Maple? And do you have to pay extra for the data plan or is it optional. I have a plan with Wind already and I have the Samsung Gravity 2 and it sucks. I have everything unlimited and all perks for 15$ a month, except data and I wont pay extra for it, only if its free, I will never leave Wind.
