I have windows 7 home premium x64 and after a few hours my sidebar gadgets stop responding and windows pops a dialog up saying to end or restart the gadgets, i restart and everything is fine for about 12 hours or so. What's wrong?

It's not system limitations as I'm running an:
Intel I7 720 1.6Ghz (2.8Ghz speedboost capable)
6GB DDR3 Ram
500GB 7200rpm HDD
Ati Mobility Radeon HD 5870 (1GB GDDR5 memory)

I never had this problem before but now all the sudden it's doing this. My desktop is doing the same thing. (Core 2 Quad 2.6Ghz, 8GB DDR3, 2x 750GB HDD, Ati Radeon 4870 1GB GDDR5, 680W PSU) Could it be an update Microsoft released and hasn't made a fix for the gadgets? Also i've tried running the sidebar gadgets in 32-bit mode, and it dosn't seem to matter, it crashes. (I've reverted back to 64-bit since the speedboost gadget only supports 64-bit and i like knowing when my i7 is speedboosting. Thanks for all your help.
