I am running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. My sound card is an on-board VIA VT1708S. I am using the latest drivers for it from VIA.
My Stereo Mix is showing, but it says that it is Currently Unavailable. If I unplug the mic, it becomes available. I voice chat a lot and want to record conversations so I have to have the mic. How can I have both?
I would think I could use a program such as Audacity and set the input to Stereo Mix and be able to record, but I cannot do this if Stereo Mix is not available when the microphone is plugged in.
