I do not know what this is or why it happens. . .but it takes FOREVER to even cancel this. It is something that just started . . and is getting worse. If I let it continue. . .it then flips to WORD perfect office 12. . what ever that is. think that was a trial version...that my student daughter needed. I uninstalled this earlier today .. and all my documents were screwed up....would not open. . . I tried all the suggestions but nothing worked. . .I then went to the RESTORE thingy. . .. . now docs are back like they were . . but this windows installer continues to be a problem . . I have a word perfect disk. . that came with the computer. . but when I try to load it. . I am told the serial # is invalid. . .What is going on? I scanned for virus . .and nothing came up? How much trouble am I in?
