wires loose on the distributor?

i was cleaning and checking my wires without thinking obviously and i went to put the wires back on... didnt think twice about it. also i cleaned out my map sensor. nothing was coming out. my car has been stumbling latly when its cold as i press on the accelerator. anyways. i go to put it all back on and my car starts buut diies. almost imediatly. i checked my wires and they arnt stiff, they are all wiggly and some come off with little force. could that cause the car to die the sec it starts? how could i fix it so they are seated in stiff and not loose
 
WHAT KIND OF CAR???? YEAR, MAKE , MODEL?? Most common ailment is a dirty IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE which is easily cleaned with Gumout spray. Good luck!!
 
Most connectors have a small lock, make sure they are clean and not broken.
