Witch cruise did u perfer?

So my family had decided to go on a cruise next year... im will be 17 my sister with be 19 my mom 47 and my dad 50 i heard that the carnival is like a crazy party crusise, or the NCL pearl, jem whatever you wanna call it, Ive been looking up videos and i just DONT KNOW! HELP please and thank you !

Carnival used to have a reputation as the cruise line for crazy party cruises, but they've toned down considerably and much of their marketing is now done to attract families. They have quite a few ships sailing from various ports to various destinations.
Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) also has many ships, among them the Pearl and the Gem.
You & your family need to decide where you'd like your cruise to leave from (is there a port close enough to your house that you won't have to fly) and where you might like to go. This will be a lot more help in picking a ship than a bunch of YouTube videos would.
You might also want to go to http://boards.cruisecritic.com and join. It's free. You can learn a lot by reading the questions others have asked, which have been answered by experienced cruisers. And you can ask questions of your own, once you've started to narrow your search down a bit.
Most of the mass-market cruise lines (Carnival, Princess, Royal Caribbean, NCL) would be good for a family with two teenagers. Your sister needs to be aware, however, that she's at kind of an awkward age for cruising. She will not be permitted to participate in the teen club activities that you're eligible for, and sometimes finding new friends on board to have fun with can be a little difficult.
