With all this Blu-ray hype, are they still going to sell regular DVD's?

I don't have a blu-ray or HD DVD player, just a normal DVD player and I had no plans of upgrading anytime soon. Are they going to keep selling the regular DVD's? And if they are going to stop, what happens to all of those regular DVD's that everyone has already bought?
