...I do know? I just started my first job as a CNA 3 weeks into it, I realized that I didn't know any precautions I had to take with the residents, I thought there was nothing to worry about cause they didn't give me list, but when new people were admitted into the nursing home, and I didn't know how to take care of them I had to ask the charge nurse why.

She told me that they should have been giving me a report. and she would make sure I got one.

Then I found out that one of people I took care of has MRSA and up until then I didn't know, all this time I was feeding her and changing her with no extra equipment without any warning.

I'm pissed, I feel like they put my health at risk and I want to know who I can report this too. and if I can take any legal action.

Unless you contract something as a result of this, then any legal case is probably out of the question. I would tell your supervisor about it. He/she may not be able to do anything about it, except apologize, but he/she will make sure that it doesn't happen again.

Gloves and universal precautions and good hand washing should be all that is necessary. MRSA is very common. You could pick it up in the supermarket or anywhere in public. Give up your idea of suing!
