world of warcraft , please dont play it EVER!

It gets boring after a week. Endless grinding in order to level up pointless skills with no real world value.

The games players can be divided up into three categories, those who are thirteen years old and think they're 1337 because they play as the Horde, those who are in their teens/early twenties and refuse to admit they are addicted despite turning up to lectures/lessons with red eyes, and those who are 40 years old and camp in SW and act all butthurt when they get ganked by earlier mentioned 13 year olds.

Pointless game.

An owl? :S Any chance you can remember what character you were playing? Don't recall any starting areas that involve owls, not off the top of my head anyway lol.

I have just stopped playing WoW. It is a game that you can easily become addicted to but most people I know who play only play it for a few hours a night maybe 5 times a week. I really enjoyed playing and have to admit I was addicted (often playing til 4am sometimes) but college starts and WoW stops and havent played since. I think the examples people have shown about people who play WoW are the extremes, and there will be those kinds of people for most games. I have friends who play WoW and have a relationship thats perfectly fine and totally normal. I wouldnt say 'dont play WoW ever' because you may like it but if you do want to play AND end up liking it, just make sure you have the will power to stop, because you will need it.

i've never really played games, but is it at all possible to be able to have a free trial, then at the end of it sell your character etc online??? and how would you do this and how much could you get for it? i heard some people sell their characters and it sounds like a relaxing way of making money but it's probs too good to be true
