I am thinking of getting a ferret and we are going to be staying on quite a large boat a bit, do you think s/he would be okay on it? I also have a dog and a lorikeet that would be on it too, but they would be fine, just not sure about the ferret. Any response and ideas are welcome - thanks!
I don't know about a boat. These guys are quick, and unless you kept them caged the whole time (which I wouldn't recommend--they need to explore and exercise), you'd spend your whole time making sure the ferret was safe and still aboard, lol.
I'm not saying you can't take a ferret on a boat trip--I'm pretty sure they'd enjoy it. My concern is if it's everyday (or close to) for several hours. But, that's just my opinion, and I get kinda paranoid about my furkids
