Well I just turned 16 (today) and I was looking at cars I'm in a state were I can't get my liencese and the problem is looking for a car I have always been attached to nice car such as audi BMW Lexus and i though of getting an suv but they are over my budget of 5k so I still look around and I found Lincoln ls I though they were an awesome car and they are a branch of ford so my question is would a Lincoln ls be an awesome first car? Also how well are they in snow?
How are the repair bills on it? And how much will it be to get it ensured?

Lincoln would be a really great car to have. If you haven't checked it out, the Lincoln LS would be a great entry level luxury sedan. It's pretty new (01-06), well made, sporty, luxurious, fuel efficient (20/24mpg) and there are used ones in your price range (2-5k). Another Lincoln that might interest you is the Navigator. A First Gen (98-02) Navigator can be found for under 4-5k, and are also well made SUVs, albiet they have a lower fuel economy (12/17mpg), and are known to "prefer" premium. Once you get newer then 03, they start to get expensive. The Navigator, in 4WD, would deal with snow and harsh weather conditions musch easier than the LS, Town Car, or anyother luxury sedan. I'm not too sure about repair bills, but i'm guessing they'll be a bit higher then average, just because Lincoln is a luxury nameplate, and usually those cars are priced higher for repairs. For insurance, beacuse of your age, it's likely you will be priced highly, no matter what car you get. However, the insurance on these cars are likely to be similar.
