Would Abraham Lincoln be upset with the current Republican Party?

Wasn't Abraham Lincoln the great fighter for a more centralized government? Didn't he promote liberal ideas such as freedom for slaves, and blacks within the political system? Why is it that todays republicans spit on the very ideals of their greatest president?
 
Dr. Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who wants to go back to what the Declaration said. Lincoln would be proud of him, and ashamed of the rest
 
i see you are a democratic ____. but, if you have not noticed freeing slaves was COMMON SENSE, not a liberal approach to anything.
 
Lincoln would not have approved of government supplied welfare. His idea of a "centralized government" isn't the current idea.
 
Slavery is owned by the democrats, many blacks are still being held bondage by the welfare state. Lincoln would be appalled to see the class warfare that Obama has fostered.
 
Abraham Lincoln was not part of the mainstream Republican Party and in fact the party was a work in progress. Had Abraham Lincoln not been assassinated he would have faced impeachment charges within a year of the end of the War. Lincoln would not have to be a Republican to be horrified by the current crop of Teapublicans, heck even Adolf Hitler would be appalled by people such as John I-Have-A-Boehner-For-Wall-Street and Michele Bachman and they masturbate to photos of A H.
