would be unfair to ask my gf to follow some rules when meeting my family?

Ok so my gf is going to a family party soon, she knows my mum, dad and siblings but this would be extended family. I want to set up four rules:
1. dont drink (im not drinking either)
2. set up a "shut up now" signal
3. set up a "help me" signal
4. dont do anything I dont do

would it be unfair to suggest this?

no thats fine. your smart thinking ahead to prevent any issue or embarrassment!

I often warn my dates about my family and say hey , don't do this or say this or act like this. Only cause i don't want my dates to feel uncomfortable :)

cheers

Not at all, it makes perfect sense to me. Do mine http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Arb8TWuTUBM19hWbeYaxJZLsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20111118182015AA1GT3p

not at all,you just want them to like her,im doing the same thing with my boyfriend, its for the best

No! She'll probably feel more comfortable that way(: However I think Rule Four is a bit ridiculous, talk to her first though! Best of luck(:
