there is a buildup of oil in the combustion chamber, how should i clean them? John Deere spitfire 340 thanks

Try using "sea foam", A fuel additive from your local automotive store. I have found it to work very well on older gasoline engines. Other than that, don't worry about the oil or change over to a soybean base 2 cycle oil.

No, but based on what you have said...
installing new piston rings and having the cylinders honed
will be a big help.
Cleaning will only make it worse.
Time for an top end rebuild.
About $150 if you do it yourself. $500 if you take it to a shop.

ok, im looking to buy a banshee 1997 it has racing domes, for race fuel. and i was wondering if you can run pump gas in it?:cold day:
