discussed publicly...? ...have been admitted to by the guilty party/parties? From what I've researched, if the subject/topic is true and has been openly admitted to by the guilty party/parties, there is nothing that they can do.

This mother is divorced from the child's father and has hypothetically gotten remarried to another person. Hypothetically, if they physically abuse the child and hypothetically, openly admit to the incident, can it, hypothetically, be talked about in public with no repercussions. Hypothetically?
