Would like to train pup to poo outdoors now, but how?

Pup has been using bathroom indoors for 8 months now since she is an indoor pup. She knows where to go (puppy pads), but I would like her to poo outdoors now. How can I train her to do this??? Thank you for your advice and answers :)

Training a dog . of any age, to go outside is initially very time consuming. that is why so many don't get trained.

A dog is a creature of habit.
Whatever it does over and over again becomes a habit for the dog.

So how do you make going outside a habit?

You take it outside every hour until the dog starts showing you in some way that it wants to go outside.

How long this takes depends on the dog.
I take mine to the same spot outside where he smells the pee. I say ' "hurry up" - or some cue word
Now, whenever I say ' Hurry up ", he goes.

There may sometimes when dog comes in and pees - especially in the winter_ but you stick to the plan.
The plan sometimes fails because owners are in too big a hurry to get inside.

Walking fast down a block will also cause a dog to poo/pee.

Your dog should have been going outdoors all along. When do you walk your dog? I have two Min Pins that get their (15 - 20) minute walks every day. Plus, they are taken outdoors every couple of hours for "pee walks". You need to get into a routine and be consistent. For instance, if you feed in the mornings, wait about 20 mins. and put a leash on your dog and get her outside. Do this also, with her evening meal. If you are home during the day, do the same thing. I DO use the pee pads, but only on rare occasion. BTW, I have NEVER crated trained, but, understand it is the most effective way to house break a dog. Do some research and give it a try. Good luck! :}

since she knows how to use the puppy pad start moving the puppy pad closer and closer to the door then eventually put it outside then she will get used to going outside. Good luck:)
