Okay, so I am 16 and this will be my first time flying on my own.
I am flying Norman Wells, NT (no security) to Inuvik, NT (I will go through security) then there is a connection at Inuvik where I will fly to Edmonton, AB. I will then connect to a different airline and fly to Ottawa or Toronto, On (undecided yet).
Has anyone ever done a flight like this where you dont have security at your boarding but then there is a stop and you have to go through security? How does it work? Do you go there on your own free will or are you lead there?
At Edmonton will I have to collect my bags? I am booking it seperately so the airlines dont know that I am connecting to/from another flight. Will I then have to go through security again because I will have to check my bags with the new airline?
Any travel tips you have would be great and any info on any of the above airports would be great to!
What airport is easier to navigate for arrivals? Ottawa or Toronta?
