would my mom smell weed coming from the basement through the vents?

im bout to have my room downstairs, and i wanna be able to smoke cigarettes and weed down there at night without having to use a paper roll and detergent to block out the smell which hardly works or without having to sneak out, but im worried the smoke will go through the vents or will it stay in a contrapt place where im smoking it
 
ya if theres not a lot of windows it will defenetly smell

but you can smoke and blow it out the window

just make sure they cant see the smoke out your window
 
You can always tell a pot-head by the avanced questions they ask!
 
most likely, but obvi it depends on your venting system. since basement is the lowest point...well, no where else for the excess air to go but up. maybe you can close your vent if possible?
 
Um.... I'm not going to answer that directly... If she is your mom, and she lives in the same house as you, theirs a good chance she is going to smell it somehow some way. One day she will go down the the bacement and smell it while your not down their. Rememebr if your a smoker theirs a good chance your not going to be able to smell your own smoke as easyly as someone who doesn't smoke. Your boys tries to block common smells out. Thats why cig smokers always have bad breath and smelly clothing. Its because they themselfs just don't realize it.
