...for a 3 hour tour a 3 hour tour? they always had different cloths umbrellas several different hats and shoes and Ginger was always dressed for some red carpet event

Celebrities and rich people tend to share the trait of narcissism. Being full of themselves they had to make sure they were ready for any possibility in regards to their wardrobes.

Also, it's a TV show. Try not to think about it too much.

The real question to me was why couldn't the professor figure out how to build a raft. I love that show by the way

P.S. - I always thought Mary Ann was way hotter then Ginger.

How far from shore would those malnourished deadbeats have gotten in three hours anyway? You'd think they would have found their way back to civilization in no time, especially with a damn science professor on board!

You'd think that the Skipper and Gilligan would at least have some extra dungarees stuffed in a trunk somewhere, but no, they wore the same old things all the time.

I'd like to see a re-make with those characters that is merged with the format of Survivor. Gilligan's Island meets Survivor. I'd love to see them all go up against Russel on Survivor, especially wearing their stock outfits. I would light some k2 incense, pound back a couple of beers, order in some pizza and have a great time watching that. I mean, the show had the Professor, the movie star etc., but no sociopath. Damn.
