Sanjay you are correct most claim Sunday as the day of rest but God almighty Himself claimed Sabbath as The Holy Day of Rest unto Himself. So many have been deceived, so many refuse to see the truth of the matter, so many are wolves dressed in sheep's clothing.
Matthew 11:28 (KJV)

28Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Hmm...When Has Christ Jesus Given All That Labor And Are Heavy Laden Rest? What is being rested from here? Jesus made and created a day of rest from physical labors which remains the seventh day sabbath.

Revelation 12:17
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
 
I don't get your question. Jesus Christ is the Messiah and the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. I've never heard Him described as "the sabbath day of rest".

Jesus Christ is a person,possibly fictional. A day is one cycle of the sun. The sabbath is a day of rest within the Abrahamic religion.
