ok, everything i find seems to say the fuel sending unit just controls the gas guage. that may be nowadays, i don't know, but my 80 camaro i just bought would not start, no gas. I pulled out the gas tank, and saw that the lines were broke, and the fuel pump is in the front of the car. i assume the fuel sending unit sends the fuel. I am getting that part soon, and just wanted to check.
ALSO note, the fuel pump is new, along with the fuel lines. The sending unit needed replaced, and should run after that. I just want to make sure i'm not missing anything else that may be included in the problem, although i assume that the broken lines may play a key role. lol.
