Would the subliminal film used in Derren Brown - How to Control the Nation work if

streamed via Divx? I know he mentioned that videos via the internet would not work due to lack of quality, but if the video was captured on a divx stream (i.e Ninjavideo or the like), would the effects be reproduced, or would they be rendered useless?

The film did nothing - it was all the suggestion he used leading up to the film that would have any effect - the film is just the trigger as he said watching the film would make you do this.
