WOuld these boots be appropriate for hiking?

Im in this nature program and we go hiking in the santa monica moutains (california) like once a month. ive only been once and i wore uggs, which were pretty comfortable for the day, except for the steeper parts. but we didnt go too far up...but i was just wonder ring will these shoes do. i cant see the bottom though so as far as grip idk.

Get over cute and start looking for a worthwhile, serious hiking boot. I would be FOF LMAO if I saw a woman wearing your choice of boot on a hiking trail. I do not intend to try choosing a boot that fits your foot and handles the tasks to which you will be exposed. However, I believe that you should go to a serious outdoor gear shop and be prepared to spend about $150 on a useful pair of hiking boots.
 
White frostbitten toes arent really cute as you will quickly find out . Get some real boots .
 
they dont look like they have a very good grip so i hope its not too steep up there as long as you take it slow it should work fine
