...Explorer 6 run Java.exe a lot faster? I use the official RuneScape client to play RuneScape; and I've noticed that Internet Explorer 7 isn't as fast, so would downgrading to Internet Explorer 6 show more viability?
I mean - I want more speed, so is it possible that my gameplay in RuneScape will accelerate in speed if I downgrade?
I have the latest release of the Java Runtime Enviornment - used to actually execute the RuneScape game (since it's written in Java); and was wondering if it was any compatible with handling Internet Explorer 6?

IE6 is an older browser and you are going to want to run the same version of Java? No guarantees it is going to work, you may be better off going to Firefox (I can't believe i just said that). Going back in time doesn't always solve problems, in fact it may create more?

I doubt the browser being used will have much effect. It may be only an illusion that IE7 is slower. Since it's Java that's in use I would suspect that the version of Java is more relevant. The same version of Java ought to run on either IE6 or IE7.
You could try Firefox or another browser for comparison. (I can definitely believe I said that)
