i think we do it too.. but just in a different way !
but again, these things depend on the individual.. im talking about the average male.
 
guys do gossip but they don't actually care about what they say and they say it for a laugh not because they dislike someone.
E.g. group of guy friends could gossip about one of them, although when this guy friend is also there, they still would gossip about him and laugh at him to piss him of, but guys know it is a joke.

Girls however, gossip behind people's back, and they don't do it because things are funny, they do it so that other people will dislike the same people they dislike.
 
Haha no cause me and my friends do, were sometimes worse then the girls.
 
No I wouldn't believe you, guys definitely gossip.

Here's an example:

"Yo, have you seen that girl's ass?"
"Yea, man I heard you got it in one time wit her."
"Yeaaaa, maaan!!."

*clasp each other's hands and do this hug handshake thing with idiot smiles.*
 
water cooler talk usually IS gossip. Girls do it more, but guys certainly do it.
