would you get an 8gb or 16gb iphone?

I'm planning to purchase the iphone 3g today... but not sure if i should get the 8gb or 16gb.I already have an ipod... so i dont plan on putting that many songs. All i basiclaly need the gb for is for apps and other things. plus im planning to get the 70 dollar insurance for 2 yrs. would you recommend that i go for the 8gb and get the 2 yr insurance, or shell out more cash for the 16 gb
 
Well the 8g can store 1,750 songs and 10 hours of video. For most people thats more than enough. The 16g can store 3,500 songs and 20 hours of video. I just got the 16g and sure I'll never need that much space, but its always good to have it there just in case I ever decide to add a movie, or if i start getting tons of apps. I have about like 20 apps, a short video, and so far only 128 songs, and I have 13.87 gb of free space left.
In my opinion get the 16g
 
i'd say 16 gb.... i got the 8 gig thinking i wouldn't need the extra space and i filled it up in no time... better safe than sorry
 
I have an 8gb and it's always been great for me! I have tons of stuff stored on the phone and haven't run out of memory yet. Honestly, if you already have an Ipod anyway, go for 8gb.
