Would you let a stranger who knocks on your door use your cell phone & come

in your house? I knocked on this guy who knows my friend's door today and I had a lot on my mind so before I even introduced myself I asked if I could use the phone (I lost my cell phone) and he just says "Oh yeah", and hands me his smart phone out of his pocket. I took it and walked over to a chair and sat my stuff down before laughing and saying "Do you know who I am?" and he said No! I was like "why did you hand me your phone then!??", he also invited me into his house because it was cold! I would never let some random person who knocks on my door and asks to use my cell phone actually use it. So I'm curious, would you ever let some random person who knocks on your door use your cell phone & come into your house??

& for the racists out there, would their race make a difference? This guy was White and I'm Black and we don't live around barely any Black people, so he earned his race some White points today. lol (Im jk)
I meant "we don't live around really any other Black people". Oops. :)
 
This was a very generous and trusting guy!

As far as your question, if a stranger knocked on my door and wanted to use the phone I'd hand them my phone to use outside, but I wouldn't let them in my house unless I knew them. That's just not safe.
 
is it bad that i knew that this guy was white before you even mentioned it?

edit: once someone came to our house and asked to use the bathroom and it was a guy i told him to go in the woods....
