Would you take a free all expense paid trip to CABO SAN LUCAS even if your spouse

gets mad? Okay so here's the deal , I won an all expense paid trip to Cabo San Lucas, But the thing is my spouse has a big family reunion of siblings have never met and cousins and everything around the time of the trip, We will be back on the 2nd of may at 11pm and He will have saturday to join the rest of the family reunion festivities, but he doesnt want to go on the trip at all even though we are coming back on friday. I know this will cause a big rift If I go without him. What should I do, I am trying to be heard out , but he won't hear of it. I sold alot of units too at the job , I mean I really worked hard all year and won above alot of salespersons.?? Please Help. How can I plead my case. The Family Reunion is the 2nd and 3rd. But he doesnt want to go because people will be coming in that thursday too.

I think he should go on the trip with you. He will still have time with family, and really how many opportunities do we have in life for a free vacation. Heck, they have gone this long without ever meeting one more day won't kill them. Good luck, but sounds like you two could use some quality alone time!!

If he refuses to go though you are in a horrible situation...and shame on him for putting you in it. Good luck!

i haven't a clue how you can "plead your case".... he's your husband, haven't you two heard of compromise?

I would take it I mean how often does someone get a free trip, everything paid for. Would it be possible for you to both go and then he just comes back on the 31st or 1st. Even if he didnt come back early he would still have most of the day of the 2nd and all of 3rd. You all really wouldn’t be missing much of the reunion.
