Wouldn't God want us to live life the way he made us, without surgeries,...

...etc.? Religion? Like if you had cancer wouldn't he just want you to go on and die as it would have if the treatments did not exist?

If you had terrible eyesight wouldn't he prefer you to not have surgery, and to live life the way he made you?
no. my eyesight is fine.
 
No, not at all. As a very old saying goes: "God helps those who help themselves". God would not have given humankind the intelligence and power to make their lives better if He/She didn't want us to do so.
 
i think you'll agree that over time since Adam and Eve, who lived many, many years...

and as history has moved forward and forward...our lifespans have become shorter and shorter.

Summary: we decay very quickly now..since the beginning.

There were physicians in the ancient days...nothing was ever mentioned condemning them. At least to my knowledge.
 
if by being the 'you' without god, then i would take the eye surgery and chemotherapy
